A motorcyclist returning to work after delivering parcels at nearby companies in the area had an unfortunate accident after losing control of his motorcycle after he had managed to avoid a car that had come out of a side road. The incident took place at the corners of Pain Street and St John’s Avenue in Pinetown this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics rushed to the scene and found the motorcyclist lying on the pavement, with the motor bike a few meters from where he had come off. The patient, who was in severe pain, had sustained serious abrasions to his legs and lacerations and was also treated for possible neck and back injuries as precautionary. Advanced Life Support intervention was performed before being transported to a nearby hospital in a serious but stable condition.
