The Top Gear show this year was spectacular and it saw the likes of popular 94.7-Highveld stereo DJ Paul Rotherham taking a flight in one of the Gabriel aerobatic planes.
The Gabriel Wings Aerobatic pilots took Paul his dad Nigel on a hair-raising flight whilst Sean and Kevin Rogers, CEO and GM respectively of Control Instruments Automotive, the local manufacturer and supplier of Gabriel Shock Absorbers, joined in the other two stunt planes.
At first Paul was very reluctant to take a flight but after witnessing and receiving assurance from the experienced pilots he decided to take a chance.
The show commenced on Friday 18 to Sunday 20th at the Kyalami Race track. The Gabriel Aerobatic planes performed on Saturday and Sunday. The planes, which put on a breathtaking show took off from Grand Central airport and performed a number of stunts over Kyalami.
