Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to reports of a collision on Avoca Road and Queen Nandi Drive at 9am this morning.
On arrival, paramedics assessed the occupants of a Toyota Tazz and found a 22 year old unrestrained female has sustained serious and spinal injuries. Great care was taken to fully immobilize her before being loaded in a waiting Crisis Medical ambulance.
The driver of the Toyota sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
At this stage it is unknown what caused the collision and will be investigated by SAPS.
