In the early hours of Saturday morning Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious single vehicle accident on Musgrave Road before Mariott road.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a vehicle had somehow lost control and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels. One of the occupants of the car was ejected from the vehicle and was found some distance from the vehicle in a critical condition. The patient was placed on a manual ventilator on the scene. All three passengers needed Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize them at the scene. Once stabilized the injured were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance for further care that they required.
It is unclear what caused the single vehicle to overturn however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
