The attached pics to show the huge costs in damage and downtime associated with a simple error in driver judgement. Driver in smashed up truck admitted it was his fault. He told me he was following the truck in front in the left lane and wanted to overtake. A car was coming up in the right lane behind him and he said he was watching the car in his side mirror to ensure it was past him before swinging out to overtake the truck in front. “I was watching the car all the time until it passed me and when I looked ahead, it was too late. I hit the truck in front.”
Driver error on his own admittance. Simple all round observation missing. Note the horrific damage to his truck compared the one he hit. Thank goodness no-one was hurt but huge damage to the truck due to driver error.
