KZN Emergency Medical Services paramedics have treated five people after a crash on the N2 north coast.
The crash occurred on the N2 highway, between Mtubatuba and Hluhluwe, earlier this morning. The cause of the crash is not known but reportedly involved two bakkies, one of which subsequently overturned after impact.
Paramedics from KZN EMS treated a total of five patients at the scene. Four of the patients had injuries which were serious in nature, while one patient had escaped with just minor injuries.
The patients were treated by the paramedics and transported to hospital.
