Four people were injured this afternoon, two seriously, after two light motor vehicles collided at the Kliprivier and Rifle Range Road intersection in Rosettenville, south of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene and found one vehicle lying on its roof to the side of the road while the second had come to stop a short distance away.
On further inspection, paramedics discovered that four people had been injured in the collision, two seriously.
Paramedics immediately began their treatment and provided the seriously injured with advanced life support. Once treated, the patients were transported to Baragwanath Hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that one of the vehicles had skipped the traffic light, causing the collision.
Local authorities will be investigating further.
