Earlier this morning the Arrive Alive website received a request for motorbike accident statistics:
“ I am studying at AAA school of advertising in Cape Town and I am currently working on a PSA for Think Bike. I am desperately seeking some statistics for my PSA and cannot find them on the internet anywhere. If you could please assist me… I am looking for the number of fatalities that resulted from accidents involving motorcycles in 2008. I also would like to confirm that the number or motorcycles in involved in fatal accidents in 2008…”
We referred this to the Experts at the RTMC and promptly received confirmation of a decline in motorbike fatalities!
We would like to congratulate our friends at Think Bike for the work they do to promote road safety awareness amongst our biking community!
