Earlier today a visitor to the Arrive Alive website sent an email to raise here concern about pedestrian safety on the R21.

We would like to share these concerns on this Blog:

“Hi There

I am seriously worried about people crossing the R21 at the Mobile garages between Kempton Park
and Olifantsfontein with only the current 2 lanes.

I see no effort in building a crossing bridge between the two garages, can you imagine what it will be like once all the new lanes are open.

People’s life will be in danger, those who try to cross and those in vehicles.

Please advise whether something will be done about this.

Best regards

Janetta”

We will share these concerns with both the National Traffic Call Centre as well as the National Roads Agency.
