Paramedics attend to guards shot at railway station

This morning at around 04H45, Netcare 911 intercepted a white bakkie in Mt Egdecombe area. “I noticed the bakkie driving with hazards on along the R102 white house road”, said Shaun. On further investigation we noticed two occupants were lying in the back of the bakkie. They were shot several times.

Netcare 911 paramedics immediately started treating the injured men who were identified as security guards guarding the Duffs road railway station area. Two armed suspects opened fire at them critically injuring both the guards. Theu both sustained multiple gun shots and were treated and stabilised before taken to a local private hospital for further treatment.
