Taxi rolls in accident on M25

At 13h00 the Netcare 911 Umhlanga base received a call from members of the public for an accident that happened on the M25  just before the Duffs road turn off. When they arrived they found that a Toyota hi ace taxi had rolled several times injuring 16 passengers.

An elderly lady in her 60’s sustained critical injuries and the Netcare 3 medical helicopter was called to airlift her to Addington Hospital for further treatment.

The remaining 15 passengers were very fortunate, they only sustained minor injuries . All the patients were treated on scene and then transported to various hospitals in the Durban area for further treatment.
