This morning at around 05H50 Netcare 911, Road traffic Inspectorate and Fire and Rescue Services rushed to an horrific accident in the Tongaat area on the N2 South bound 2 km before the Tongaat toll plaza.
On arrival they found that a blue Daewoo motor vehicle which was travelling south bound in the early hours slammed into the back of a very slow moving 14 wheeler truck travelling towards the toll plaza. The Indian male was heavily entrapped and paramedic’s and Fire rescue department battled to extracted his lifeless body from the wreckage.
The Indian male unfortunately was declared dead on scene due to his massive injuries he had sustained.
Tongaat SAPS are investigating the accident and no names have been released until family have been informed.
