A visitor to the Arrive Alive website raised the following question:
“I am a South African citizen and am doing research on the amount of vehicles there are on the South African roads.
More specific – the amount of registered busses or trucks per province and totals.
Is there perhaps a link to a site?”
This information is available about South Africa’s vehicle population as reflected on the eNaTIS. For ease of reference the statistics are presented according to vehicle class and per province. Increases and decreases in the live vehicle population from 31 March 2009 to 30 April 2009 are also presented.
