A visitor to the Arrive Alive website sent an email of a personal account of a possible method used by hijackers forcing motorists to stop. We would like to share this with the public:
“Please take note of this apparent technique to hijack vehicles. This happened to me on Sunday evening on my way back home after dropping my son Michael off in Pretoria.
The perpetrators throw paint onto your car from an overhead bridge once it’s dark. It looks like huge drops of water. If you put your wipers on it will smudge all over the windscreen & you are forced to stop because you cannot see.
Please pass this on to your friends and loved ones warning them not to put their wipers on if this happens until they can see exactly what is on their vehicle.
