Although the National Traffic Information System (eNaTIS) recorded a month-on-month increase of 23.03% in vehicle introductions in May 2009, new vehicle registrations across all categories dropped by 40.26% compared to May 2008. Used vehicle registrations remained virtually constant, with 0.74% more registrations in May 2009 than there were in May 2008.
