Netcare 911 responded to a motor vehicle accident this afternoon at 14h00. One truck and two smaller motor vehicles were involved. Three occupants in a Toyota Corolla were killed in the collision. The driver of the Corolla experienced a tire blow out and lost control, colliding with a truck and one other motor vehicle.
The Corolla driver was the only survivor in that vehicle. He was transported to hospital in a stable condition. Occupants of the other vehicles escaped uninjured.
The incident occurred on the N1, 26km South of Polokwane.
