This afternoon just after 16h00 Netcare 911 and the emergency services responded to yet another taxi accident. When they arrived on the N2 north near the Illovo river they were faced with a taxi that lost control and overturned.
Sadly one passenger, a male in his 30’s died on scene due to the severe injuries that he sustained , a further 4 passengers sustained serious injuries, and 10 others sustained only minor injuries. All the patients were treated on scene and then transported to the Prince Mshiyeni hospital for further treatment.
