Netcare 911 rushed to the scene of a motor bike accident on the M4 near the Merebank turn off. When paramedics arrived they found that a vehicle lost control and spun around on the south bound lane, colliding head on with the motorcycle.
The driver of the bike sustained critical injuries and had to be placed on a ventilator on the scene. After paramedics stabilised the patient, he was transported to the St Augustine’s hospital for further treatment.
