Netcare 911 rushed to the scene of an accident on the corners of Innes road and Vennes road at around 19h00 last night. On arrival they found that two cars collided, causing critical injuries. The female driver of the ford, a lady in her twenties was critically injured and trapped in the vehicle.
Paramedics and fireman had to use the jaws of life to free her from the wreckage. After they stabilised her she was transported to St Augustine’s hospital for further treatment.
