This evening at around 17h30 Netcare 911 and the emergency services rushed to the scene of a very tragic accident on the N2 South near Umgababa. A family just picked up there 17 year old niece for the school holidays and was on there way to enjoy a holliday when tragedy struck. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled several times.
Sadly the 17 year old died on scene due to the severity of her injuries. 2 Patients sustained critical injuries, 1 patient had serious injuries while 2 others sustained minor injuries. All the patients were treated on scene and then transported to various hospitals for further treatment.
