Netcare 911 raced to the scene of an accident on the N2 South near the Illovo River bridge. On arrival they found that a bakkie lost control and went head over heals for several meters before coming to a stand still on the edge of a drop-off that goes down to the river .
The driver sustained serious injuries and after paramedics stabilised him they transported the patient to the St Augustine’s hospital in Durban for further treatment.
