Trans African Concessions (TRAC), who operates and manages the N4 Toll Route, sponsored the designated driver service at Innibos in Nelspruit. With the help of co-sponsor, Tom Tom, TRAC promoted road safety, responsible driver behaviour and enforced the “don’t drink and drive” message in a positive and pro-active manner.

Tom Tom’s satellite navigation assisted in getting Innibos party people home safely. Thanks to the support of Tom Tom, designated drivers at the recent Innibos Arts Festival had no hassle in finding the destinations of “tired” Innibos fans.

Messages such as “don’t drink and drive and/or arrive alive” don’t equal “no fun”. It simply means making a responsible choice before the party starts (e.g. appoint a designated driver) and sticking to it when you’re on the road again.

The Arrive Alive website and the Road Safety Blog would like to urge all festival and event organizers to consider the safety of visitors – and especially their safety on the roads!!
