Do you understand and use all the features on your GPS device? I am unfortunately one of those who still get easily overwhelmed by technology and all the different features. I have a rather expensive phone with many different functions – but all I really want to do is make and receive calls, send and receive a sms or email, and visit a few mobile websites.
With GPS technology it is very much the same. I want to get from point A to point B and want the device to recalculate the route fast and efficiently when I miss a turn off. I need the maps to be up to date and need the device to satisfy the simplest of usability needs.
The GPS devices on sale today offer so much more. As more and more of the younger generation grow up with technology these advanced features would satisfy their expectations – while the older users will still be comfortable with far less features.
