At approximately 02h00 this morning ( 4 July 2009 ) paramedics responded to a single motor vehicle accident near Rosebank, Johannesburg.
It would appear the driver lost control around a bend in Chester road, the vehicle landed up on it’s side on the pavement after knocking down two trees and a residential wall, the house appeared to be unoccupied at the time.
The driver of the vehicle was killed in the incident, he had been the only occupant.
Fire-fighters used an electric saw to cut part of the vehicle in order to extricate the victim, the vehicle was then pushed back over onto it’s wheels, the whole scene was then handed over to the SAPS and Forensic Services.
