Netcare 911 rushed to the scene of an accident near the Orient Hill library in Isipingo. On arrival they were faced with a horrific sight as a taxi and a car collided head on at high speed. The two people in the car were critically injured and trapped in the mangled wreckage. They sadly both died due to the severity of their injuries.
Four other people from the taxi sustained serious injuries and after paramedics stabilised them, they were transported to the Prince Mshiyeni hospital for further treatment .
