Last night Netcare 911 was called to an accident on the R102 near Glen Anil. On arrival they were faced with not only an accident but with two people that were shot . The Red Toyota Corola was damaged and ended up on an embankment with the two occupants in the vehicle.
The driver, an Indian male sustained gunshot wounds to the abdominal area and arms while his wife sustained gunshot wounds to her pelvic area and legs. According to them it was due to an attempted hijacking. Both the patients were in a critical condition and was transported to the Umhlanga hospital for further treatment .
