Vehicle is overturned in taxi accident on Nandi Drive Bridge

This morning Netcare 911 rushed to the scene of an accident on the Nandi drive bridge. A taxi collided into the side of a VW golf overturning the vehicle.

The driver of the VW, a lady twenty years old had sustained critical injuries. After paramedics stabilised her she was airlifted in the Netcare 911 helicopter to addington hospital for further treatment.

A further 4 people from the taxi sustained serious injuries while two others sustained minor injuries. All these patients were treated on scene and then transported to various hospitals for further treatment.
