Tonight just after 17h00 Netcare 911 and the emergency services rushed to the scene of an accident on the N3 North in the Hilton area. A taxi hit into the back of a truck killing 4 people. One of them was a child of about 5 years old, 2 other patients were in a critical condition and 2 had serious injuries with 5 passengers sustaining only minor injuries.
All the patients were treated on scene and then transported to hospitals in the Pietermaritzburg area for further treatment.
