This morning at around 06h30 Netcare 911 and the fire services were called out to an unusual accident in the DHS High School grounds. The driver of the school HI- Ace tried to start the vehicle by running it down hill, but he lost control and collided with a brick wall.
He was trapped in the wreckage and firemen had to use the jaws of life to free him. The driver sustained serious injuries to his leg and after paramedics stabilised him, he was transported to hospital for further treatment.
