eNaTIS media release: Municipal strike affects vehicle registrations

enatis All service centres in Gauteng were closed during the last week of July due to the municipal strike, and this had a marked effect on vehicle registrations. Only 32 578 such transactions were recorded on the National Traffic Information System (eNaTIS) in the week of 27 to 31 July. This is a decrease of 44% compared to the weekly average (58 240) recorded in the preceding three weeks.
