This morning Netcare 911 rushed to a very tragic scene in the Pietermaritzburg area. SAPS was called for a suspicious looking car that was parked in a open field near the freeway. When we arrived on scene we found a bakkie parked in an open field with the door open but with no occupants.
On investigation we found that a white male in his 50’s hung himself in a tree some 10 meters in front of the vehicle. Paramedics and SAPS raced over but sadly it was too late. The gentleman died before our arrival .
SAPS is investigating the scene.
