Paramedics called to mining accident near Dundee

This afternoon Netcare 911 and the provincial services rushed to the scene of a mining accident in Hating Spruit. On arrival they found that 15 people had been injured. Netcare 911 transported 6 patients to the Dundee provincial hospital – two of them with more than 40 % burns to there body’s and in a critical condition and 4 with minor injuries.

The provincial service transported 6 patients 4 with serious injuries and two with minor injuries – another private service transported 3 patients with minor injuries.

All the patients went to the Dundee Provincial hospital where they are undergoing treatment at present.
