Paramedics attend to diver injured in Durban Harbour

Diver Injured

This afternoon Netcare 911 rushed to the scene of a diving incident in the Durban harbour. Divers were working on the new tunnel passing under the harbour when it is believed that an airbag burst throwing the diver against the tunnel side.

The diver had suspected spinal injuries and the Netcare 3 helicopter was called in to airlift the patient to the Netcare St Augustine’s hospital for further treatment.
