Netcare 911 paramedics rushed to the scene of an accident on the N2 South just before the M 7. On arrival they found that a pedestrian tried to cross the road and was hit by a vehicle. He sustained critical injuries and paramedics worked frantically to stabilise the man. The patient was transported to King Edward hospital where he sadly passed away despite the enormous effort from the paramedics to try and save his life .
