This morning a fireman was injured when the bakkie he was travelling in collided with a taxi at the intersection of Inanda road and Newlands East drive just outside Durban. Both vehicles overturned and came to rest on their sides in the road .
Paramedics from Netcare 911 arrived and was prepared for the worst, but miraculously only one Spoornet fireman sustained minor injuries. He was treated on scene and then transported to the Netcare St Augustine’s hospital in Durban for further medical care .
