Three people were injured, two critically so, when the car they were travelling in was hit by a truck in the intersection of Allendale Drive and Old Greytown Road (M10) shortly after 6 pm tonight.
Netcare 911 Paramedics responded to the scene and found that a heavy goods vehicle had slammed into the side of the car, which had been turning across it’s path. Netcare 911 Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the injured.
All three wounded were taken by ambulance to Pietermaritzburg’s Mediclinic Hospital for further medical attention.
