Paramedics attend to 3 day old baby found abandoned in shopping mall

Security in the Menlyn shopping mall in Pretoria found a 3 day old little boy that had been abandoned in a store room this evening .

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and found that the baby had been dehydrated. After stabilising the baby they transported the child to the Pretoria East hospital for treatment. Doctors and nurses examined the baby and found him to be in good health .

After the child had received a feed , the ambulance crew transported the baby to the Wuerda Burg child protection unit where a day mother was waiting to take care of the little boy .
