Doctors are fighting to save the arm of a motorcyclist after an accident at the intersection of Webb and Great North street in the Northmead area of Benoni this afternoon .
Netcare paramedic Hennie Morkel arrived on scene where a 23 year old male sustained critical injuries. The paramedic worked hard to stabilise the young man and realising that time is of the essence, he called for the Netcare 1 medical helicopter to airlift the patient to the Charlotte Maxeke hospital in Johannesburg for further treatment.
