One man was killed when he was clipped by a light motor vehicle and resultantly thrown beneath the wheels of an articulated truck on Durban’s South Coast Road near Mobeni at noon.
While first hand accounts of what transpired were unavailable, it is believed the man had been crossing the busy roadway when he was clipped by the wing mirror of a car. The man spun and was pulled beneath the truck travelling in the same direction.
The man sustained multiple injuries and was declared dead by Netcare 911 Paramedics at the scene.
