A 9 year old boy sustained serious injuries after two vehicles collided at the intersections of the Old Pretoria road and Le Roux Avenue in Midrand last night ( 21h58 ).
Exact details are still for SAPS investigation, however two vehicles collided in the intersection with great impact .The 9 year old was travelling with his uncle at the time. He sustained suspected spinal injuries while the uncle had only sustained minor injuries.
Netcare 911 paramedics stabilized the boy on scene and then transported both patients to the Tembisa hospital for further treatment. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured in the accident.
