Man crushed under Front -End loader

A 32 year old male is in a critical condition after a front- end loader he was working on landed on top of him at a farm in Warrenton. It appears that he was working under the bin of a front- end loader when the hydraulics collapsed.

The two ton loading bin then pinned the man against the ground, causing critical head and chest injuries. The critically wounded man was taken to a provincial hospital in Warrenton by private transport. Doctors started stabilizing the man and called for the Netcare 911 paramedics to transfere the patient to a private facility.

The critically injured patient was placed in an ambulance, and transported under the expert care of the Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic, to a private hospital in Kimberley where he is receiving further treatment at present.
