One person was seriously injured after three bakkies collided at the intersection of Swart Koppies and Gordon roads in Alberto this afternoon at around 13h00.
Details of the accident is still vague but is is alledged that the one bakkie came through the intersection, slammed into the side of another bakkie causing it to flip into the air and land on a third bakkie.
The crumpled remains of the vehicles came to rest on the verge next to the roadway. Paramedics from Netcare 911 arrived on scene and was totally surprised that only one person sustained injuries in this accident,.
The driver of the one vehicle sustained serious injuries and after he was stabilized paramedics transported him to the Netcare union hospital for further treatment.
