The Arrive Alive road safety website has gained the assistance of International GPS navigation provider TomTom in assisting travellers to plan their trip. The very important Online Route Planner will not only assist South African drivers but also international visitors in the 2010 World Cup.
The web-based Route Planner allows users to easily pre-plan their routes online before setting off on their trip. It’s a handy tool for those want to be well-prepared for their long drive ahead and avoid getting lost or spending unnecessary time searching for a specific restaurant, garage, shop etc. In addition, map corrections that are made by TomTom users through TomTom’s unique Map Share™ technology, are regularly uploaded to the Route Planner, so users always have access to the most accurate routes based on the latest map information.
