24 year old injured in lift accident

Netcare 911 paramedics and emergency services battled for over two hours to free a 24 year old man that was trapped between the lift and the first floor at a shopping mall in the Mulbarton area this afternoon. The exact cause of the accident will remain a subject for investigation; however the man was in a goods lift and somehow slipped and got his right leg caught between the lift and the first floor.

Netcare 911 paramedics worked fervently to free and stabilize the severely injured man, and then transported him to the Netcare Mulbarton hospital for further medical care.
