Two people are in a critical condition after the heavy goods truck they were traveling left the roadway and overturned. Exact details of the accident is still speculative however the truck was traveling on the N1 and about 20 kilometres outside Springfontein in the Colesburg direction, veered of the road and overturned.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the emergency services arrived on scene and found both the driver and his passenger to be in a critical condition. The driver was stabilized on scene and then airlifted to the Rose park hospital while the passenger was transported to hospital by ambulance for further medical care.
