VESA (Vehicle Security Association of South Africa) is driving an awareness campaign relating to consumers being mindful of securing their vehicles during the festive season.
To ensure that the existing vehicle security system is working, VESA fitment centres accross South AFrica will be providing free vehicle security inspections during the campaign week. Clients who require VESA Certificates of Approval for insurance purposes (the proof required to confirm the existence of a VESA Approved installation) will obtain the certificate for R50 instead of R195 which then allows a free inspection.
The consumer also stands the chance of winning a gift voucher if his/her VESA Certificate is drawn in a lucky draw 7-10 December 2009.
15% AA Membership discount also applies to VESA Certified clients.
VESA will also distribute vehicle safety and security hints/tips for the press to use.
