4 people were injured when a taxi overturned on Jet park road in Boksburg on New Year’s eve, two of them small children aged one and three. Details of the accident remains a subject for police investigation, but it appears that after the driver lost control of his vehicle , clipped the pavement and overturned. The crumpled remains of the taxi came to rest in a veld next to the roadway.
Netcare 911 and provincial paramedics arrived on scene and was amazed that the 4 occupants escaped from the wreckage with only minor injuries. All the injured were treated and then transported to a area hospital for further medical care.
