A man was seriously injured in a motorbike accident on the N12 about 600 meters after the Voortrekker road off -ramp in Alberton at 11h05 this morning. It is purported that the biker was on route to Edenvale and as he passed a vehicle he lost control and fell. The bike and rider slid several meters and came to rest against the concrete barriers.
Paramedics arrived and found the rider at the side of the roadway. He was immobilised on a trauma board and stabilised before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
