A side-impact accident left one person seriously injured while another escaped with only minor injuries along the Modderfontein road this afternoon. Exact details of the accident is still a subject for police investigation , however it is believed that the errant party crossed over Modderfontein road in front of a vehicle traveling towards the Birchleigh area of Kempton Park .
Netcare 911 paramedics had to immobilise the seriously injured man on a spinal board before transporting him to the Arwyp hospital for further medical care .
