A motorcyclist was driving up the M13 Fields Hill road this morning when he hit a pothole in the road. The man in his thirties then lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the roadside barrier.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man in severe pain. Upon examination they suspected him to have broken both of his arms and his left cheek bone. He was also complaining of pain to his back and neck.
Advanced Life Support paramedics stabilised the patient on scene before loading him into the ambulance and transporting him to R.K Khan hospital for further treatment.
SAPS Pinetown and RTI were on the scene and will look into the incident.
